Creativity grows here – creating and facilitating spaces for engagement, connection and artistic processes through site specific creativity.
The Art Seeds is the part of my creative practice that is about making spaces for people of all ages to find creativity, inspiration, community and connection. My practice and creative processes have grown from 25 years as a teaching artist, including visual arts teaching certification and forest school programme leader (NOCN Level 3) certification. Nature connection, visual storytelling, drawing, photography, sculpture, printmaking, natural materials and cooking/baking combine to create experiences unique to people, place and season. Each project is created to respond to people and place, making each unique and meaningful for where the seeds of our creativity will be sown.
Some examples of the creative ingredients that could be part of of a project include collective idea mapping, visual stories (drawing, photography, sculpture), printmaking, zine making, nature connection & art making, idea/recipe/story swaps, art installation creation, textile processes (natural dyes, weaving, cordage making), ephemeral sculpture and pop-up exhibitions.
